About the Trinity Church Ball

The first ball was held in February 2008 as a somewhat experimental venture to see if the Gallatin Valley would respond to a formal dance for families and young people with their attendance.   Debbie Bartlett and Hope Sukut organized the dance with significant help from Karen Vowell from our sister church Rocky Mountain Community Church in Billings and others who helped with decorations and dance practice.  Since that time, there has been a Trinity Church Ball twice a year with as many as 300 people in attendance.    The vision that we have for this dance is to provide a wholesome, cultural event where people of all ages but specifically young adults can socialize and learn a bit of dance etiquette.  It is not meant as a substitute for prom but rather an entirely different genre of dance that includes English Country dance.  This semi-annual formal ball is an outreach ministry of Trinity Church in Bozeman, MT.
